Amazon Prime offers free shipping, Prime Video, and more for ₹1,499/year or ₹179/month. But if you're not using it enough, here's how to cancel and potentially get a refund.

If you haven't used any Prime benefits since your last renewal, you may be eligible for a full refund. Otherwise, you'll get a prorated refund.

How to Cancel Amazon Prime

  1. 1Go to amazon.in/prime and sign in
  2. 2Click 'Manage Prime Membership' in the top right
  3. 3Click 'Update, cancel, and more'
  4. 4Click 'End membership and benefits'
  5. 5Follow the prompts (Amazon will try to retain you)
  6. 6Confirm cancellation

Getting a Refund

Amazon's refund policy is generous. If you haven't used Prime benefits, you'll get a full refund. If you have used benefits, you'll get a prorated refund for the unused portion.

You can set a reminder to be notified 3 days before your Prime renews. This way you can decide whether to continue without being surprised by the charge.

Is Amazon Prime Worth It?

Consider keeping Prime if you order from Amazon more than once a month or watch Prime Video regularly. The math: if you save ₹40 per order on shipping and order 3+ times monthly, Prime pays for itself.

Never forget a subscription again

Track all your subscriptions, get reminders before they renew, and take control of your spending.
